I'm using Firefox too. Maybe I've changed a setting somewhere. It does worry me that I can upload a file without having to click a browser consent dialogue box.

Not sure then, maybe David will weigh in on this and offer some ideas for us to try.

I wouldn't be too worried. If you already had malware on your computer that could execute the code to send material away without you knowing. It would probably also be able to accept a promt or change the settings itself.

That standard user control setting in vista that promts you constantly is the very first thing I disable. I swear even if you look sideways at the screen without being near the keyboard it will promt you that someone is looking at it funny and ask [Proceed/cancel]

Using firefoxin my pics as well.

I haven't had a problem with Firefox yet.

I'm having some problems trying to upload pics too-
I spent most of last night trying to upload a couple of photos using the process you describe here. The data uploads and leaves a small block with an "X", but the photo is not visible and all attempts to open it prove unsuccessful. Is this the result of an incompatible format? I'm using .jpg files from a windows application.

I'm afraid that I've not yet experienced that problem Casey, so I'm not really of much help there. Jpg's ought to work fine.

I also has problems uploading photo's, but I managed to create a link from my website, which effectively refers to the photo and loads it as opposed to actually uploading the photo to straight razor place. I have to agree, it could be simpler

This post is just an example I've put together for another person who asked about something. Feel free to disregard.

The red circled box in this picture is to direct link the picture like I have done here with these examples.

And now some more yada yada from me so on and so forth:

    Even more text about something:
