Bruno wrote a great wiki entry that has helped me to start on my first razor restore job, but I was wondering if someone could update this entry. When I asked in a thread about whether to use the sand paper dry or wet, I received interesting answers. It seems a lot of guys use oil while sanding. Things like this could improve the entry and help newbs like myself from posting questions to the forum.

I would do the edit myself, but I don't understand the reasons for oil, the best oil, etc and therefore feel it would be inadequate.
