    Dave,

Just a few random remarks, most of which are based on personal taste:

    1. The editor window uses white as the colour for links, i.e. you cannot see a link contained in a post when replying,
    2. forum_new.gif and forum_old.gif should have more contrast,
    3. the colour gradient created with tcat_right.png has too much green, i.e. it does not really fit into the rest of the colours used,
    4. the old smiley theme does not blend in well with the new colour scheme.

    Regards,
    Robin

    1) Fixed.
    2) We're making new ones, so good suggestion.
    3) I'll point that out to Jasper.
    4) Smilies never blend in with anything. I think you and I are just going to be beaten on this one, Robin.

    One 'suggestion'-

The new logo is great, but I think that the logo on the scales needs to be fixed or changed. The problem with it is that the logo, when the imaginary razor would be closed, would be upside down. Here is a photo showing how logos would usually be positioned on old scales:

Granted, that might not look best in the logo because then the viewer would see the logo as upside down. IMO the logo would look best with nothing else on the razor's scales. The color and gradient is nice and the same logo is right underneath the razor. Just figured I'd mention it.

Some of the navigation buttons do not work The chat button directs me to the forums, the new posts button (when logged in) and the log out buttons will not work from the main page. The new posts button and the log out button don't work from the main page on vision collision either, but do work on the Default scheme

I am glad that search now works from the main page though, that is nice

Also, sometimes the posts look goofy when my firefox window isn't maximized. Sometimes the post time is off, sometimes the border is off, like here

And it is the anterior set of scales which are less likely to have anything on them at all. I'm for removing the SRP from the scales all together since SRP is already right there in the logo.

Also, I mentioned in a recent email, but thought I should do so again here, the mulit-quote button isn't working.

Great work, gents. Loving the new look. Some nice Illustrator work there, Jasper.

I don't know if this is a Firefox issue or if it's something you can affect, but it's always bugged me on SRP- I use the mouseover preview from the new posts listing to preview threads and see if I really want to open it up. The preview that pops up only lasts a few seconds and then disappears.
To contrast- on Yahoo when I mouseover a news headline, it stays up as long as my cursor is over it.

Can that be fixed? Would make my browsing move so much faster

    thanks a lot!

The "add to reputation" button on the lower left is not functional. Running K-Ubuntu with Mozilla Firefox.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
