How About a Minimum Post Count To Sell in the Classifieds ?
Earlier today (Sunday) there was a fellow with one post count who put up a custom Chandler that he said was honed by Lynn. He wanted $700 or so for it. Now there is a one post count seller with a 7 day set of Sheffields for $600. These are very probably genuine articles by trustworthy sellers. I know that if a mod sees these they will probably pull the ads due to the low post count.
OTOH what if a member new or otherwise hits the buy it now before the mod sees the ad and it turns out to be a bogus deal ? I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to have some minimum amount of posts before you could place an ad. When I read the sticky it does't specify a minimum though it does say members only can put up items for sale. One post makes you a member.I can't blame a guy with one post for putting an expensive custom up for sale. As I say, 99 out of 100 will probably be honest sellers but I think 25 posts or so at the very least would be a better policy.IMHO.Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 1262Agree. Even if it is legit, this shouldnt be a fee free ebay. Classifieds are a service for the community.
