Thread: More site changes

As you can see, Some more things have changed.
The administrative forums are moved to the bottom because they get the least traffic.

I've moved the beginners corner, ladies corner, general and announcements forums to the top in a separate group, because those are usually the first place new users want to be. Well, not the announcements forum probably, but it seemed like a good idea to have this where everyone would see it instead of moving it down with the rest of the admin stuff.

that's suprirising, we have enough female shavers that the ladies section is so busy. statistically isn't the "gallery" forum one of the most visited? I"m curious, as it is usually my first stop

It's possibly your first stop. Mine is the conversation / mod place.
For others it's the gallery, and yet others visit the workshop.

But for new and beginning members, it's the beginners corner and general forum. Also, the ladies corner is pretty general as well, and I want as many female members to notice it as possible.

I refreshed the main forums page four times before I figured out changes had been made.

yeah I figure everybody has different first stops, i was just wondering if you guys had any kind of numbers showing which forums were getting hit the most, and getting the longest visits. that would be interesting to see.

Longest visits, I don't know. But Newbies corner and General contain the most shaving relared posts / threads by a wide margin.

I like the changes to the wiki, previously you couldn't get back to the main site without typing it in, now you just click the logo up the top and go straight back to the main page. I'm not a fan of the new forums layout, but that's more because it requires me to consciously adjust the schema (yeah, I'm a PSYC student) I used to use to scan for new/relevant posts. I'll get used to it.

Also, Bruno, I love the Pratchett quotes you have as your sig. I might have to add in my usual one, a quick story about Mr Crossbow and Mr Safety-Catch
