Wiki section for shaving areas aside from face?
I just started shaving my head with a straight, and given that I've also recently viewed a few humorous-but-serious threads about shaving the nethers, I wondered if people would be interested in a separate section in the wiki for other body parts.
There are already threads in various forums about shaving your; head, legs, armpits, coochie, rooster, etc. I think some members would find value in having that information available in the wiki.
Just a suggestion.

Thanked: 1903True. But can we first discuss what goes where? We'll need a category that fits in the namespace. And all that jazz. Everything else is here: How to Write a Wiki Article - Straight Razor Place Wiki.
Some of the Wiki crew should be in the Chat if anyone should need any help.
All in the interest of public safety, of course, lest we cause confusion:

Yeah, I know anyone can edit the wiki but figured that there would need to be some sort of consensus regarding content and layout. I'm pretty new myself and probably couldn't contribute much beyond a few tips I've learned over the 4 or 5 shaves I've put on my head.
EDIT:
I'm talking about articles like using different soaps/scents on different areas. A few threads talk about the nethers being a bit more sensitive so it's more important to use unscented soaps or non-alcohol based aftershaves.
I'm still figuring out techniques for getting my head (around the ears are tricky!) so that could be addressed. For example, I've found it easier to start at the top of my head and shave down towards my ears, rather than going from my forehead back (as if brushing back a pompadour).
Lots of tips in the ladies forum about legs and armpits. Discussions about how to deal with hair that's finer than on your face, which blades are good for those areas, etc.Last edited by commiecat; 06-13-2009 at 05:45 PM. Reason: Citing some examples

Thanked: 1903Well, let's put this stuff in the advanced shaving techniques category, then. Should not be a problem. Just put in there what you think should be there, and let the Wiki crew clean up after you. We've got a stub tag which notifies us of articles that need working on. Together, we can turn this into something useful.

I put some pages under Advanced shaving techniques. Just placeholders right now because I don't have time today to fish through all the old threads.
What do you want to call the forbidden regions, and should there be one encompassing article or separate for girls and guys? Also, feel free to rename the articles. I didn't think when I named them all "Shaving...", so they're all bunched under S. Maybe I should have just done underarm shaving and leg shaving.

Thanked: 1903Excellent. I've just added {{stub}} notices to all of them.
Now, find someone to write those articles...

I can add some tips about head shaving, but like I said I'm still pretty new.
The girls said that they're working on some stuff as well. My follow up question is what to call the coochie/rooster sections?
Shaving your groin (m/f)?
Shaving your coochie/rooster?
Something else?
