I cannot leave Thanks
I am unable to give anyone thanks with the thanks button. Is this just me, or are others experiencing thanking difficulties too?

Seriously, I click the button, the button disappears as though I have thanked the post, but no thanks shows up from me under the post in question.
Sounds like it might just be me.
I shall check out my browser settings - for anyone interested, or who might have an idea, I am running Fedora core 11 with firefox 3.5.2 and noscript (SRP is excepted). But I do not think it is OS-dependent. I have the same issue on my Gentoo box as well.

OK, well here is the workaround I have come up with.
If I right click on the "thanks" button and select "open in new tab", the new tab opens with the selected post thanked.
Weird, but it works.

Hi Jimbo; it's not personal. The same thing just happened to me. The button disappeared. I tried to refresh it came back and still didn't work. I tried backing out of the page to the forums page and then return; no luck. Curious.
