    Default read/not-read/first unread

    Hi guys
I am still having a heck of a time with this feature. Sometimes I miss posts becasue the thread is not showing as having new postes. Other times I don't get directed to the first new post. Sometimes after I have read new posts, it still shows unread at forum home even if I navigate from the jump menu. Also, whenever I navigate to a new page it defaults to the bottom of the page.

I use Firefox. Do you think it could be a browser issue, or have others had these kind of problems. I really enjoy this forum and hate to complain but....

    Korndog,
I don't think it's a firefox issue per se... I personally use nothing but firefox ( except when I run across a site laden with Microsoft specific stuff that violates industry standards -- then I, of course, have to load IE if I need to view the site. BTW, that only happens a couple times a year).

I haven't had any of the problems you're seeing, but that could be just be a coincidence as I probably don't navigate the site exactly the same way you do.

If you can provide a step-by-step sequence which fails I'll see if I can replicate it... if I can replicate it then we can probably fix it (or at least explain why it works that way ). Also, make sure you're logged in, let us know what style your using, and tell us whether you're viewing the forum within a frame on the SRP home page or viewing it directly via http://straightrazorpalace.com2/

    Korndog,

Have you tried clicking on the "New Posts" button?

I'll try and log my sequence so I can report it. Thanks for the replies.
