SRP Razor DB - making it easier for international contributors
I am participating in a Czech/Slovak speaking forum dedicated to straight razors. Its members have some interesting razors that have been circulating in the Central and Eastern Europe for decades (or centuries). Instead of building their own database of razors, those folks agreed that it would be of a much better effect if the SRP razor DB was used to capture those razors instead, if a language barrier that they face on the SRP wiki was removed.
I am far from proposing a complete localization of the SRP pages for non-English speakers, however I would like to create a localized version of the Razor DB subscription form in order for those folks to start contributing. Thoughts? Does this need a careful analysis first in order to pick the best approach or can I get my hands dirty immediately?

Almost there... Category:Straight Razor Database - Straight Razor Place Wiki
I hope you do not mind the flag as a link to the localized version of the form.

I think your idea, sparq, is a great idea!
Recently, I purchased a Russian straight razor with original box. I have no idea what it says, but it shaves like a crazy man! (Who knows what that means. It shaves well.) I have a Moldovan friend who knows Russian. I'm going to ask him.
It would be neat to be able to find my razor in the entries "you guys" make.

Thank you Larry! Do not expect much exotics though. Prague is half way between Vienna and Berlin and Czechoslovakia was one of the most developed European regions pre-WW2. Most of the razors around are from Solingen, only a fraction were Czechoslovak made. As for soviet/russian products, most of them were always considered sub-par quality in Czechoslovakia and not many soviet razors were in use there. And btw. "us guys" were about as homogeneous group as if Americans, Germans, French and Mexicans were thrown in one bag and referred to as "you guys".
