Thread: A little help.

Morning gents,
I am having a little technical difficulty and wander if you can help. I log onto SRP with no problems, but lately when I try to contact a seller in the Classified Ads, it wont allow me to post a message. It states I am not registered and asks me for a User Name and password. I already have a user name and password to enter the SRP, do I need another name etc to send messages to the classified ads. When I enter my current details the system says I still already exist and wants me to set up a different User name and password. I am trying to contact the member Importacar.

Just to clarify, this is what happens when you go to a Classified ad and click "Contact Seller"? Do you get to the screen where you can write your message, or does it immediately ask you for name/password?

Also, what internet browser are you using?

Yes it is when I go to the Classified Ads and try to press 'Contact Seller'.
It takes me to a sign in page, asking for me to register. If I put my current User name and password into these fields then it says I already exist and to choose another name etc.

I am entering SRP via Google using Windows Vista. I have put many posts/messages onto the SRP and never had any problems.

It looks like a bug (obviously)

When you get the "you must be registered" message, don't navigate away from that page, but go ahead and enter your username and password in the present fields at the upper right and you should be able to send your message.

Thanks for the advice, I tried the suggestions to no avail, so I have sent a message to the site moderators in order that they might be able to help.
