Thanked: 1371Chat Problems
Once in a blue moon the chat works for me.
Probably 95% of the time it doesn't...
Here is the error log from the Java console:

Thanked: 1903Looks like a problem at your end to me. For serious use, I would strongly recommend a dedicated client program. Setup instructions can be found here: Using the SRP Chat - Straight Razor Place Wiki. Pidgin has the advantage of being available as a Portable App for Windows based computers: PortableApps.com - Portable software for USB drives.
Regards,
Robin

Thanked: 1371Dang! The wiki covers everything!
It didn't even occur to me to look there for help with the chat.
I don't have time tonight to test everything, but I will try installing Pidgin tomorrow.
Thanks!

Thanked: 1371Haha. I would have figured you'd be tired of listening to me cry about my rookie mistakes by now!
