Default Can the search be set to accept three letter words?

Currently the search omits words that are three letters or shorter...

Is there a way to set that lower? It's a pain when searching for things like 827 strop, our own razor, etc...

I've tried putting words in quotes and it still omits them. "our own" razor.

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

I've never needed the search feature to find my own razors. They usually stay right where I left them.

I don't know how to change the site's search rules, but one workaround is to use a google search confined to this site, like:

    827 strop site:straightrazorplace.com

or, to get threads with the term in the title:

    site:straightrazorplace.com intitle:"our own"

Use an asterisk. For example "827* strop" gives me six hits.

    Is this the wildcard?

In many search engines, * is the wildcard.

I also use google and type in:
    site:straightrazorplace.com INSERT SEARCH QUERY HERE

and then the standard google search syntax can be used. I find this to be especially useful when I want to use " ", three letter words, or the not function.

I knew it's usually the wildcard but SRP's search engine is anything but normal. eg. the lack of ability to understand +, -, " ", etc...
