Question Can not post a an ad in the classifieds

Hey all! I'm having issues at the second step of posting an ad.

There aren't any categories listed. I use google chrome and also tried it on iexplorer, but no cigar.

Any help on this would be much appreciated, as I have some antique razors I want to sell to the community.

    Thanks,
    Brandon

You don't have a high enough post count to post an ad if I'm not mistaken.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Members wishing to post a 'For Sale' (FS) or 'For Trade' (WTT) or a 'Wanted to Buy' (WTB) ad must have a minimum of three (3) months of membership and no less than 100 posts or six (6) months of membership and no fewer than 50 posts. Exceptions to this rule may be made by the senior moderator team.

    Good call.

Keeps the "fly by night" types out of there.

Well hell, I only post here when I'm trying to learn something I can't find on or off the site. Wish I had more to contribute in the forums and to be honest, I don't want to post anything anywhere just to meet the quota. A few months ago a scored a good deal on a set of vintage straights at a local antique store which are in restorable conditions. Figured I could recycle them out to this community so they could shave another day. Now that I'm pressed for money I'll have to resort to another antique store. Thanks for the info guys.

So I have 9 months under my belt... Could it be reduced to a minimum of 25 posts? Figured I'd ask.

Even though it seems like a lot of posts, it's not really that many.

I'm sure that you're learned enough now to answer a new member's basic questions, or even just welcome them to SRP.

Sometimes people just need a quick answer, or just need to be pointed in the right direction. I myself have been guilty of just thinking "somebody else will be along quickly to answer that", but if everybody felt the same was nothing would get answered.

I guess my point is that I'm sure that you have knowledge to contribute and each post takes less than a minute. In no time you'll have enough posts to sell in the classifieds, and you'll either help or welcome (or both!) quite a few new members.
