Instant Thread Search

Hey Developers!

I was just on a different forum (trying to figure out my new cell phone) and noticed that they have a really cool feature on the forum. The forum automatically searches the title against other threads and posts the results right there. It suggests you read them before posting the thread to cut down on duplicate threads about the same topic.

I figured this would be a great idea for SRP. Maybe we can cut down on the 830285630+ threads that ask, "Is a Zeepk a good razor?"

I was on Palm Pre Forums at PreCentral.net and I attached a screen shot of the search thing.

If anyone else thinks it's a good idea, chime in so the developers can decide.

I've noticed this popping up on more forums, and it's saved me from posting a few dumb questions. The submit button triggers the search. Good stuff!

I don't think we're going to install this one right now. We're working on some other new features in the meantime. Thanks for bringing it up though. I'll have to see if there's a similar function that works with what we're planning to use down the road
