    Default What's up with all these crazy ads?

    Very surprised to see all these off topic ads. The animation is a big resource hog on my pc. Pretty tacky in my opinion, but thats just my opinion. It's your site.

    There is an easy fix for that.
    Just install an ad-blocker of some sort.
    I did that 5 years ago, and haven't seen any ads since.

    I guess this site isn't at all bad in this regard though, the reason I use an ad-blocker is the national newspapers I read every day. They are so messy it isn't possible at all to read them without blocking out all the animations and mouse-overs.

    Most of the ads aren't bad IMO. It's the one that all of a sudden screams through the speakers "Congratulations! You've just won an IPOD NANO!" that gets to me. Ads I understand and appreciate as we'd all have to pay to see this site otherwise.

    We had a DB corruption, which resulted in these 'back ads' being played.. We've killed them off.. Thanks for the heads up.
