Need a Good, Bad, and Ugly Forum
Knifeforums and Bladeforums have feedback pages (Good, Bad, and Ugly on BF), dedicated to members outlining good/bad experiences they've had with vendors, sellers, individual buyers, etc. It's a nice way of finding out who deserves our business, and who to trust when selling something. Puts it all in one place, too, and allows someone who may have had something negative said about them to defend themselves where everyone can read it. Sometimes things happen, and it might not be the maligned person's fault. Also lets you know who makes contact when things go wrong or right. I think that with the amount of straight razor paraphernalia around, and the rabid dedication of its adherents, it'd be nice to have a quick reference point to go to when you're thinking of buying or selling, without looking through every post on the site.

I think that's a great idea. I've had a few online stores with absolutely terrible service and some that have been great. At least the rest of us would know which to steer clear of.

Good Idea Joe,
I think a list of whom to NOT buy from would be good. There was a list of sellers that were not to credible put out on the Yahoo SRP but don't know if I could find it real fast. If we are searching on eBay and find a razor that we like and are doubtful about the seller we could come here and look it up. Also, we could put down sellers of different items that have good deals.if anything has been abnormal for a long enough period it then becomes normal.

Wow-zers, alwaysgood0, and 267894 (all ebay sellers) would definitely have to go on the "not-to-buy-from" list immediately. This post is for the benefit of people who have had no dealings with them, or new guys. They're selling a bad product, and what makes it worse, they wait until you post feedback about them to post feedback about you, which sucks when you've held up your end of the bargain. My reputation is important to me, and I have 100% positive feedback both as a buyer and seller on ebay, and when I buy I pay immediately. I hate my feedback score and reputation being held hostage by sellers like those three. If you're selling 3000 items a month on ebay, one or two bad feedbacks isn't so bad, but if you're like me and have between 20-100 transactions, one bad feedback lowers your average drastically.

C'mon Joe tell us what you really think. LOL LOL Honest I really agree with you. It is amazing what they say about some of the stuff they sell. It is as if they hadn't even looked it.

Thought I'd give the guy a bit more time to respond.
Update - My money was refunded, which, I guess, is all you can expect of a seller.Last edited by Joe Chandler; 02-24-2006 at 01:55 AM.
