Thread: Review and Database Expansion

Hello All,

First off, I want to say that I think this is a very well setup and well run forum. For me, the information presented on this forum and all of the conversations I have had with the forum's members have been priceless. However, I think there might be some room for improvement. I know this forum is mainly a specialized forum for straight razor shaving, but I think including more information on safety razors and safety razor blades might be prove useful to the forum members, particularly beginners who maybe using safety razors as a gateway to straight razors (like me ).

My suggestions:

A category in the review section specifically for safety razors and safety razor blades.

A database in the wiki for safety razors.

A database in the wiki for safety razor blades.

A category in the review section specifically for reviewing shaving vendors.

A category in the review section specifically for mugs, bowls, and scuttles.

I know the Miscellaneous Category can be used for the above, but I think these ideas, when implemented, would be very nice refinements to the forum.

I understand that this forum is a free, as-is, service, so these certainly are not demands. The forum is great as it is now, too. However, these suggestions might make the forum that much better.

It slipped my mind when I made my first post, but I suppose a strop database section in the wiki might be another idea to consider as well.
