    Default How can I downsize my pics ?

    I want to sell a razor in the classifieds but my pics are too big . Can someone please tell me how to go about downsizing them ?

    you can install paint.net, its free and resize with it

    I presume you're using Windows. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...powertoys.mspx has an image resizer, too.

    I use MS paint. It has a resize function and comes free with windows. Start -> Run -> mspaint.

    Another option.

    If you want Photoshop like power and features, try The Gimp. It's free and there's a version for almost all platforms (Linux, Mac OS, Windows).

    Irfanview is a great image viewer with tools for simple resizing and cropping. I use it all the time. It's free and works very well.

    Those two used to be the subject of perpetual ribbing between me and my wife. She loved Irfanview, and I couldn't get her to switch to GIMP for editing. (Granted, we were using them for slightly different purposes.)

    (un?)Fortunately, her hard drive (w/Windows) finally gave up the ghost, so now I've got her using a a persistent Ubuntu install on an 8GB USB drive. With GIMP.

    All that aside, Irfanview *is* pretty good for simple editing.

    Thank you all ! I went with BeBerlin's suggestion and everything worked out fine . If you want to see my razor , it's in the classifieds .
