I sold some stuff recently, and the "Purchase Notice" email that is automatically sent to the seller has a link to see the profile of the buyer. But when clicked, it takes me to my own profile.

You do get a separate email from Paypal if bought with the BIN button, but you still do not know the SRP user name of the buyer.

Same exact thing here Ray. I brought it up and the supposition was that the buyer wasn't logged in at the time they pulled the trigger. Of course the paypal email will give the name and mailing address but not the SRP screen name.

I believe this happens when your item is purchased by some one NOT a member of SRP. By default, it gives you the only profile the system recognizes,,,yours. Or the other answer is , the buyer is not logged in at time of purchase.

Nope, some of the buyers were longtime members.

Maybe the latter explanation about being logged in.
