Poll - what theme(s) do you use?
As David mentioned in a seperate thread, upgrading of the site to newer versions and/or different software will occur in the near future. (Please don't ask what "near" means... it'll happen in stages and will occur whenever each of us finds time to do our part.) When the forum is updated it will be necessary to take it off-line for awhile... I'll try to give you advanced warning of the outage.
Part of upgrading the forum involves making sure the various themes (aka styles) work. In preparation it occurred to me that we have no idea which themes are heavily used versus those used by only a few. So, here's a poll to solicit that info... note: the poll will close in 5-days.Last edited by azjoe; 04-21-2006 at 08:06 PM.

Joe, I use vClassic. I love "clean" themes... I have some experience as print and web designer. I will try and make new skin for SRP, and post here, so we'll see if it fits with other users... I'll PM if I have questions, and please, so do you...

i only browse using this link http://straightrazorpalace.com2/ so i can avoid the double scroll bars (they really slow me down on my lap top without a mouse). the only down side is it's more difficult to get back to the main page and help files etc...

You may want to consider removing the read receipt feature. It's ANNOYING (at least to me).
Edit: Thanks for maintaining the site and diligently taking our input

Evil Dave...it's the default, and I'm lazy!

Thanked: 2i put it on blue steel and change all of my options to have 20 replies in a thread and to show all threads in existence, not just two months. and I think I have the semi-easy reply.
i also remove avatars as it reduces clutter.
i didn't come here for months because i didn't know i could register and change the site. i spent a week here before i found out about /forums2 by hitting ctrl-shift and then a forum to have it pop up in a new window. i was using it embedded for awhile and it drove me nuts. i think more people would come here if they had it set up like me, it is way more user-friendly.

Thanked: 1I had been using "Classic" but changed to "Blue Steel" when this thread appeared cause it also has a nice look to it.

I like the natural tones of Old Wow ever since I discovered it.

HA! Until I read this thread, I didn't even know you could change the forum's look. I'm using BlueSteel now, just like Bill.
I also agree that the nested window/scroll bars can be a pain -- clicking between windows to show the right part of each window .
