Ad posting how to?
I've tried posting an ad numerous times & don't seem to have what it takes. Step 1 of for sale - okay
Step 2 select a category - the drop-down displays a blank field, approx 2 characters wide, and the process stops. Hitting submit keeps you on that page with nowhere to go.
It also seems to have multiple conditions under which you're prompted to log in - even though I'd already logged in.

There are requirements before you can post an ad. You have to have 100 posts and to have been here for a certain period of time. It's in the forum rules somewhere.

Is that to keep spammers out of the classifieds or a period used to eval new members

Gents, Thank You
I appreciate help. Once again, I'm learning. That probably won't stop any time soon.

SRP is definitely more of a brotherly atmosphere. So being able to do certain things should require a bit of a breaking in phase.
Funny enough, if you love shaving, and enjoy the "art" it won't take long before you're chatting it up all over the forums. There's just too much too learn!

I had this same problem and couldn't figure out why until I came here to this section. If I may be so bold as to suggest, you might try updating the wiki pages to make this information easier to find. When I click on FAQ and read down the list, not one of the questions covers "Why can't I post an Ad?" or similar. It seems a common enough question here to warrant greater exposure. It may be possible to find it, but even while I was actively searching for this information I did not uncover what has been posted above.
