    Default HOW TO POST PIC?

Hey guy's, I'm finally getting some pics and would like to post. Is there an easy way to do this without creating sub folders and renaming files? I don't want to be a bandwidth bandit.
    thanks

I use Photoshop to resize my images, but if you don't want to install software, this is free and runs entirely on the web: Free Online Picture Resizer - Crop and Resize photos, images, or pictures online for FREE! plus it looks pretty easy to use.
For your extremely large pictures, in the resizing options, I'd recommend using the "fit to screen - 800" option, or however it's labeled.

To post them here, just click the "post reply" button, then there is a place in the reply window where you can add attachments. Attach your images, much like you would with an email, and you are done!

In your user control panel, there is an option under miscellaneous to see all the attachments you have posted. If you're sizing your photos correctly, they shouldn't take up much space at all... (I have a total of 2.4 mb in 78 attachments). I am not sure what the forum software is set up for attachment allowance, but if you keep your attachments to under 50kb wherever possible, it probably won't be an issue.
The other thing you can do with the attachments in your user CP is, if you had a picture that you wanted to reuse a lot, you could copy the link to it, and insert it in a post with the IMG tags. That won't save bandwidth, but it will save a little bit of server space, as you're not uploading the same image multiple times.

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.
