Thread: Can't Give Thanks

Odd that I can't give thanks, and never had problems with that board function until near '10's Thanksgiving! What gives?

I'm not an ungrateful lout, gimme some clout!

It's a glitch in the forum that you cannot work the thanks button if you got to the thread via the "New posts" search. If you wish to give thanks, you have to re-access the post directly through the forum main page.

I expect thanks for this!

For some reason the "Thanks" function does not work if you have accessed a thread through the 'New Posts' search link. Might that be your problem?

If it is, try right-clicking the 'Thanks' button and selecting "Open Link in New Tab" and, while you have to close the new tab, it will leave thanks.

Also, it will allow you to use the "Thanks" function like it's intended to be used in the new tab

The thank button showed up after a delay in the page for me. After the page had been loaded for about 15 seconds it showed up.
