Default having trouble listing items for sale

    Hello,

When I try to list an item for sale I get stuck on step 2, the drop box is simply empty and I can't get past it
I've tried in both chrome and IE

the drop box for step 2 gets larger in IE but there are still no options to pick or way for me to get past step 2

    please help

    Wyldr

You have to have a minimum amount of posts and/or time as a member. If you read the rules of conduct here that you agreed to when you registered you'll find the info in there.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

    Welcome to SRP.

In order to sell in the classifieds you will need to be active in the community for a period of time. The specifics of what is required can be found here.

Rather than start a new thread, I figured I would ask this here. I wanted to post an ad for trade and I got this message:

You have exceeded your maximum allowed limit of 6 ads.

I tried to find this information, but I could not and I was wondering if this was a monthly limit that was imposed? Just curious?

See section 5.2 here: SRP rules of conduct - Straight Razor Place Wiki

You are allowed to have five for sale ads at the same time. The software cuts you off at six, because there is an allowance for an ad in member services, which doesn't count toward your sales limit. You should not have more than five items listed for sale at one time.

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

That's strange, I currently only have four items listed for sale at this time.

IOW, if you have 5 and one or more sells delete those and you'll be able to list the difference to bring you ad count back to the allowed total.

I'm not sure why I did not just try that in the first place!

    Thanks Jimmy! That obviously worked.
