Thanked: 1195Did Anyone Else Notice?
About half an hour ago, maybe more, I refreshed the page and found that a few of my posts had disappeared. Not only that, but my post count went down too. It seems like some other member's posts were deleted as well. Not sure why this happened, I assume it was a glitch of some sort as my posts were not offensive in any way.
Did anyone else notice this at all?

Thanked: 1195Yup, that sounds familiar. I found myself logged out as well, and when I logged back in my posts disappeared.
One thread in particular comes to mind, the recent "shaving in the 1800's" thread. DrMoss_ca had just posted before I did; his post (which I thought was insightful) also disappeared, and now that thread is far down the forum list.

Server migration is in progress, and the forums will (the devs tell me) be a bit glitchy until all the DNS servers are aware of the new IP. Should be done something like 1200hrs GMT, I think.
I am not a dev, and can not vouch for the accuracy of any of this info.

Thanked: 1371Perhaps a sticky on the main page explaining the potential problems would be helpful...
Oh, and tell Lynn to get his beer away from the server.Last edited by HNSB; 01-11-2011 at 07:42 AM.
Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.
