    Default Saving Threads

Hi: Is there a way to save a thread? Where is it saved? What is Subscribe to a Thread and what is a Permalink?

Thanks--I am sure this is discussed somewhere....

If you want to save a thread, I would subscribe to it.

Then in your profile you can view all your subscriptions and set them up to email you when there is an update if you want.

The permalink is a link to a specific post within a thread.

In the toolbar above you'll see "thread tools". Click on that and a drop down menu appears. Click on "subscribe to this thread" and there you have it. As Ben said, you can access your subscribed threads in your user control panel by going to your user profile.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Look at the blue bar above and look for Thread tools.
You can subscribe/ watch a thread from there.

Permalinks let you grab a permanent link to a specific response
perhaps in the middle of a thread.
