    Default Design an Avatar

I have no graphic arts skills but would like an avatar. I've mucked around the internet for 3 hours, worked on different sites, tried to download photos - debated if I should use my 1187, M-1 Garand or Swedish Mauser to shoot the computer!

Then I searched this forum and found a thread where LuckyCynic offered to put together avatars for members. He hasn't posted for a long time, but it got me thinking.

Is there anyone out there who would throw something together for me?

Qatsats is a Hebrew word meaning "cut asunder." It sounds like what it means, "qat/sats," the sound of a machete cuting through a cornstalk. I was thinking of an image of blade, a katana, and the words, "the sound of the blade."

    Interested?

I could go it. I am very skilled in photoshop. So let me get this straight. You want an image of a Katana cutting through a cornstalk with the words "the sound of a blade"?

Thanks for the help, much appreciated.

The photo doesn't need to be of a katana going through a cornstalk - that would probably be difficult to find. Just a katana, or a katana in the hands of person, and the quote. That would be great.

I could photoshop the Katana going through the cornstalk, if you want.

    Hey, Skippy!!
Thanks for the help. Great job. I hated looking at that "No Avatar" sign.

    Dang... I'm too late!

I would have thought that a Hebrew sword would have been more appropriate than a katana or samurai swords...

Like a hebrew temple guard sword or a cool period sword.

Not that the avatar isn't a very nice one, mind you.

    Oh, almost forgot.

Proper etiquette requires you shoot a monitor with an M1 Garand. Unless you are 500 yards away, then you are allowed to use a Mauser.
