    Default Purchase Error?

Perhaps the mod's could check on how this could happen. I can't explain it.
I had a 5/8 Round Point Special W&B up in classifieds this morning and I received two notice of sales from SRP that came within minutes of each other.
I then, of course, received two payment notices from Pay pal. I am shipping the razor to the buyer who's information I received first and returning the money +$5 to the buy who's information I got second. I don't know any other
    way to handle it.

This is a result of the nature of the paypal integration. The item is marked as sold only after the pypal transaction is complete, so if a second person starts the checkout process both payments go through.

It has happened twice to me. I did the same thing - the person with the first transaction got the item, the second got a refund.

I don't know of any solution to this.

Paypal does integrate better with ebay and there a paypal transaction will get blocked as soon as the payment is made (only an issue for buy-it-now items), but Ebay owns paypal, plus they can afford any programmer to implement such things for them.

Acceptance of your offer to sell occurs when the first notice of purchase is recieved by you. It is what it is. But I would also compliment you on your professional way of resolving a conflict. You are more than fair.

Thanks, I really appreciate the information. The event made me a bit nervous.
