I know this is silly, so I apologise for taking up your time needlessly, but try as I may, I can't get that little 'Profile Picture' you see in my settings, to steer itself further onto my actual posts.
    Thanks in advance

I think there is actually two different pictures involved here.
You have a profile picture, which you seem to have gotten right.
Then there is the Avatar. This is the one that gets displayed in your various posts.
Look in your control panel for Avatar and add a picture there, much like you did when adding profile picture.
Keep in mind that your Avatar will have to be quite small, you'll find the details in the control panel.
    Hope that helped.

Edit: Birnando types faster than I do.

    Thanks Birnando!

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

I am posting this to thank you Birnando and HNSB, not forgetting David Wessell who steered me to this part of the FORUM in order to get help, but also to see if it has worked!

I had no idea what an Avatar might be, so I looked it up in the dictionary first": "A manifestation". Oh no, does that mean I've got fleas?
