    Default Larger PM folder capacity?

I get quite a lot of PM's and also send quite a few. Is there a way (even if its just upon personal request) that we can raise the limit from 75?

I dont know how tight we are on space, but I would be interested to know if this is an option, as I have often deleted messages to make space, that I realize later I wish I still had.

No its actually more like an aging person (such as myself) trying to write a list because their memory is fading, but they cant because they ran out of paper.

Have you tried downloading them and saving them on your pc as a text file? There's such an option at the bottom of the PM page. If that's not workable, then get back to me.

I really didnt want to go that route...my only computer is a work laptop and I try not to save much to the hard drive to privacy reasons.

ok.... you've got 25 more, but that's it! I'll bet you can't get your car in your garage, either.

Now, to get serious... I checked and there are only a handful of people who have more than 50 messages saved, which is the forum default. Some time ago someone asked to increase it and I moved it to 75. Moving up to 100 won't have much additional impact on the server disk requirements.

And if you're concerned about security on you work pc... why not save your personal stuff on a floppy or flash drive? You could store thousands of messages on a <$10 flash drive.

100 should cover it, thanks a lot.

I hadnt thought of the external drive idea. If I ever need more than 100 I will do that, I really appreciate it Joe.

    Thanks,

    Josh

    P.S. I dont even have a garage
