Nope. I'm still irritated with a comment I got from a Mod a few months ago. No interest on my part at all.

dont let the strife of one person effect how you carry yourself. we need someone to step up and I'm not the person. (might deploy in the next 6 months)

God bless, Bill, hope it comes thru for you!

    Thanks, Kelly!

I've picked up the guidon for the military group (even though I'm not quite sure yet what that entails), so let's see if we can't get it going again!

OK, standing by for my invite. USAF Active Duty 25 June 80-01 September 05. Retirement ain't all it's cracked up to be. Even after almost 6 years of being in the real world I still don't fit in very well with regular people. I'd happily be deployed tomorrow (if they'd let me keep my handlebar stash.) But I gotta admit, the fetching Mrs. GI doesn't much miss our old life. She's decided she likes having a husband who comes home on a nightly basis. I guess it's tolerable but I've resigned myself to the undeniable fact that I'll never be as good at being a civilian as I was at being a GI.

You are not alone brother. Now try working in both at the same time!! civilians are mostly sheeple....

Let's try to keep this conversation on topic, instead of turning it into a 'civilian vs soldier' discussion.

I wonder what the ratio of Officers to Enlisted is on SRP.

Simply pointing out the difference in working in the civilian world vs the military world. Sorry if you found this politically incorrect. Didn't mean to offend.
