    Default Classifeds

Before the upgrade in the classifieds there was the option to delete an add, I used to do it to sold items to control the add count I have so I fit in the limit of 6.
Now I find that this option has been disabled, and all sold item adds count toward the count of 7 that one can have up at once. Was that intended or is it a glitch? One would think as soon as item is sold the add should not count any more?

    Thanks
    Stefan

Yes, the delete option was disabled, and there's a note I posted about it. The sold/expired ads sometimes count, sometimes don't, though even for people who have said they counted they stopped doing so after few days.
May be the developers would look into it and figure it out, but since the classifieds is intended for just occasional sales and not a vendor's storefront it shouldn't be a big problem.

I understand but I have an old add that seems to still count even though the item was sold ~20 days ago.
How about An add that I have had for a while and the item does not sell, how do I take it down?

Take a look at the screenshot with your ads:

You have 4 active ones and 4 sold/expired ones. Two of the sold ones are from yesterday, so as of yesterday you clearly could post up to the full limit of 6 active ads. I don't know when the two ads you just sold would stop counting just as the other two (from Sept 7 and Sept 16) clearly don't count, or how long the ones you have active are going to run for (you may have selected really long period).

I don't see an ad that was sold over 20 days ago which you say is counting.

I suppose the easiest way of taking an item off the market is to just mark it as sold. You could also lobby the software makers to start distinguish again between sold and expired ads.
We really would like to keep the sold and expired ads forever in the archive section, but since the software seems to delete them, for now they just stay as long as possible.

that was not the case yesterday, thanks for the heads up.
I am not sure how to remove an add for an item that does stays too long and does not sell, is it best to contact a mod to ask for deletion?
