    Smile Some new Forums...

Ok, as most of you have already seen, this morning we added several new forums...

    "Auction Talk... eBay, etc."
    "Razors"
    "Strops"

We also renamed the "Honing and Stropping and Stones...Oh My" to just "Hones". Over the next couple days, I will work at moving all of the strop related threads from this forum to the Strop forum... please be patient as there's a lot to move.

    Enjoy!!

Yeah, the Strop forum should be the best of the bunch.

I guess I'll be the naysayer and say that I don't like that they have been split up so much... some of the stuff made sense to split up and I welcome the new forums like the auction forum, but splitting up the hones/strops, brushes/mugs/etc just made it more of a PITA to keep up on all the threads IMO.

I liked it better the old way. Guess I'm just a curmudgeon.

Yeah, you old guy! I don't visit the forums individually. I always click the "New Posts" button and read from that page.

Me too, so I don't care about the categories. But it might be wise to keep related sections information together, maybe something like this:

    Razors
    Sharpening (Hones)
    Stropping (Strops, Pastes, Paddles e.t.c.)
    Lather (soaps, brushes, mugs e.t.c.)
    Shaving
Grooming (Aftershave, Cologne, pre-post balms e.t.c.)
    Restoration
    General
    E-Bay
