Thanked: 10Problems posting to SRP classifieds
Anyone else having problems posting to the classifieds board? On step 2, where you choose where to post the ad, the dropdown box isn't working for me. I've tried posting with Chrome and Safari, neither one works. Help anyone??

The info on the classifieds posting rules can be found here:
SRP rules of conduct - Straight Razor Place Wiki
I think rule #1 pertains to your situation:
Members wishing to post a 'For Sale' (FS) or 'For Trade' (WTT) ad must have a minimum of three (3) months of membership and no less than 100 posts or six (6) months of membership and no fewer than 50 posts. Exceptions to this rule may be made by the senior moderator team.
Get in touch with a Mod and you may be able to post an add (or go make 26 more posts, whichever is easier )

I have 4.5 years of membership and 50 posts. However, I still have this same problem in both Safari and Firefox. The category drop down menu doesn't work while trying to post a classified. I emailed a moderator but no help yet. Thanks for any advice.

Thanked: 10I do meet the requirements: I've been a member for over a year and now have over 50 posts. I should be able to post to post an ad, and so should instantcrow.

I will get back to you, via PM, after consulting the devs and Senior mods.
And yes, my mistake, you do seem to meet the requirements stated in the rules quoted by bharner.Bjoernar

Instantcrow has already posted an ad in the razor section and it sold but his problem is with the browser.
Supersco, I checked your profile and it appears you have privileges for the Classifieds. Give it another try. Sometimes when people hit 50 it takes the forums software a moment to update and is not as instantaneous.
