Default How to correctly post smiles to your replies

I have sincerely tried lately to post smiles with my comments to threads or member inquiries. Sometimes this really inforces an idea or reply. I haven'nt been able to get the cfaracter itslef to display, all I am getting in place of the smilie is the name of it in written text instead of the smile. Could someone please help by sending me step by step instructions on how to get the image itself to display......Thanks

When you reply to a post, click the smiley icon on the toolbar, then select the emoticon (smiley) you want to use.
In your reply, it will show up as text, but after you click the post button it will show up as whatever you picked.

If it's not working like that for you, let me know and we'll troubleshoot.

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

Please don't use that particular emotican in replying to HNSB, you're liable to give him a big actual head .......
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
