Thread: Classified section: availability of pics after sale

After buying a razor in the classifieds, I was hoping to download the nice pics from the page, but only the thumbnails show now. Clicking 'supersize' on the thumbs opens a page that says 'image pending approval'. What can you tell me -- are the pics deleted at that point?

I've noticed the same after an item is SOLD and there is not much we can do. I would contact the member that sold it to you and ask them if they can either send you the images or just host them on a site (Image Shack... etc.) so you can get download them. Some members use their private image gallery on here or have other sites to host images.

If it is not still in the original listing category it may have been moved to the classified archives down page. If that is the case the photos will be accessible. Also, I may be wrong, I was wrong once before, but I think if you right click on the supersize photo it will save in the larger size ?

The archives would appear to be corrupted. There are only 198 transactions there and the dates are scrambled. A purchase I made just last month is not there? Do these get deleted by those posting or by moderators or is it a glitch?

I dunno. I was looking in there last night and couldn't find old stuff. A PM to a dev, HNSB being one, might bear fruit..... then again, maybe not. BTW, I can't imagine a mod deleting an ad. They are put in the archive. Why some of them appear to have disappeared is beyond my pay grade.

I don't think so. The ads are not meant to stay in the archive forever.
May be I should rename it to Sold/Expired.

Many of the buyers I sell to here have asked me to just forward the pic's from my ad's. I am always happy to do so and
when I rememer to I ask the buyer if he would like the pic's. Of course I don't post pic's through a host all my pic's are
on my computer.
