Thanked: 443Find Local Help listings
I've rcently noticed the Find local help feature in the Community drop-down, and wonder how to add myself to the listing. I'm along the Colorado-Utah border, hone & rescale my own, and have a decent variety of rocks & blades folks could try out.

Nice!
We need more experienced people to further develop that list.
If you are familiar with editing Wiki's it's just a matter of adding yourself to the list.
If you are not, I'd be happy to help you out

Hey, Birnando.
In typical pinklather form - I knew nothing about this. I've not done wiki editing either, but if you help Roughkype by PM - perhaps copy me? I've worked some technical stuff, but only an MS wiki.
Many Thx.

Thanked: 443Thank you Birnando! Looks good. I'm sure Oslo looks great too, after whatever you've done there.

Good stuff mate
I just went ahead and added roughkype myself.
Hopefully a few more will join in, so here is a simple guide to add yourself to the list:
Log in to the wiki.
then find the list at the bottom left on the start page, it is called "Local Help"
Open that.
Then go down to the correct country (if it is already in the list)
Beside that you'll find a "edit" link, hit that.
Once in the edit mode, simply add Your State if it is not listed, or add a new bullet point to add another user under the other(s) listed for that state.
Adding the user is done by writing the users name, and then highlight it, go to the tool bar and select the add link icon.
Add the users profile link in the top of the box that pops up.
Then add a a more specific area if needed behind your name.
Scroll down, save the document, and that's basically it
Feel free to PM me if any assistance is needed with this!

Thanked: 443Thanks for the instructions, Birnando! I hope we can populate this list better. I've already alerted a guy in Denver who would be a good addition.
Best wishes as always

Well I was going to add myself to the list but the wiki log in keeps telling me that my username is not valid...
