Signature lines
Hello all,
After much discussion we have decided that we want to bring back the Signature lines for the members. Below is the recommended introduction for out in the forum.
For those of you that are new, and those that never knew the reasons why they were turned off, we as Mods were dealing with to many rules being broken with them.
We are recommending that there will be just a few simple rules that everyone must follow to keep things easy..
1. No Advertising
2. No Links
3. No Profanity
4. No religion or politics
We are not going to waste our time with warnings for offending Sigs and asking that they be changed. The Mods will simply delete any Sig not in compliance, if It is re-posted again with a non-compliant Sig, we will simply turn off the ability for that member to have a Sig line..
We are asking that everyone be sensible about their Sig line and be polite with them please. If you are in doubt if your sig line is acceptable it would be a good idea to look at the Mod's Sig lines to get ideas, or to just ask first.
All existing sig lines have been deleted in order to make sure that any sig lines that appear will have been knowningly created after this announcement has been made. That way our staff does not have to sort out hundreds or thousands of existing signatures.
For now, sig lines are limited to 200 characters of text, maximum 3 lines, and no images, links or font changes.
This may change as things progress.
Thank You

Thanks Bruno. Personally, I don't miss the Sig lines at all. I used to have one, switched it from time to time, but in all honesty I think by not having them leaves the threads looking uncluttered as it where. JMHO.

A quick little tip for those who doesn't want the signatures to clutter up their reading experience, they can be turned off by each member in their respective settings.
That is quite cool actually, and gives everyone the opportunity to not only have one or not, but also to see others or notLast edited by Birnando; 07-06-2012 at 09:32 PM.

Thanked: 1371Two birds with one stone!
Now people will stop asking my name, and stop asking what HNSB stands for.
Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.
