    Question Where would I post?

This seems a logical place to post a question on where to post a thread that you are not sure where it would fit in the sub-forums.

I am making this because I have an idea for a thread and would like to post it but do not know where. My idea is:
I love carving my beard into different shapes and styles. I theme it for holidays sometimes. I thought it might be nice to have a thread exhibiting shaving skills pertaining to creating beard styles.
I have seen the sub-forum "Shave of the Day", but it seems to be about what you used not what you made of your beard. I would like to make a thread like that. If you could please direct me to the proper sub-forum it would be appreciated.

Also this might be a good place to make a pinned topic for all the newcomers to post questions on where to post. Just a suggestion.

I would put it in Shaving with a Straight Razor. There are many exotic facial-hair styles of century's past, but I'm afraid we have lost much of that these days. There are several guys here who wax their mustaches, though.

I don't believe you. Pictures or it never happened

I think Jimbo did a thread not too long ago about shaving his beard into the shape of Greek letters.

Would it be uncouth if I posted past beards.... un-wet shave... and then slowly update it with more as I get better with the straight?

As long as you stay within the rules of the forum, which are easily read and even easier to understand, you may post anything you wish to post.

I cannot imagine why posting pictures of your various and assorted beards would be any issue whatsoever, unless some of them were offensive.
