Classifieds problems
I'm aware that the last thing anyone wants to hear about is one guy having problems posting into the classifieds. But, I'll try it anyway, maybe someone has a solution.
I've been trying since Friday 8/10 to place a classified ad, and I keep getting the message that I've exceeded the maximum of 6 ads. But I've only posted 2 razors in the month of August, and I always choose a 7-day duration when I place ads.
This isn't going to tilt my world either direction, but I've been helping a friend liquidate some of his collection and now all I can do is tell him to wait, that everything will get straightened around.
Hey - it's a free service and I love it. At the moment I just miss it. If anyone can help they would earn my life-long gratitude.

Stimpy,
From what I can see there is only 1 ad left in the Archive. I also noticed there were 5 more ads place between now and 10 days ago. Chances are the software has auto deleted your ads but needs a chance to update as it's keeping the day counter rolling on your profile. At this point there is nothing we can do and it's a waiting game for the software to update and allow you to post in the Classifieds again. Please be patient and it should be back up and running for you.

What in the maximum image size for the pictures? I couldn't find that anywhere in the FAQs...

A year from now, you'll wish you had started today.

Thanked: 43I'm having the same problem as the OP. I have hit my 6 ad limit and the system won't let me post anymore until the others start expiring. I selected a 15 day add and some of them are still in the archive despite being posted for more than 15 days. Is that supposed to happen?

Thanked: 433I still can't place any ads either and most of my sales were 7 day ads that ended July 29th, it's getting kind of irritating.

Yes, you are not the only person, and the software is simply broken. As far as getting it fixed, I would say that it depends on more people with technical skills volunteering to help. Compared to other technical issues we have it's not the highest priority, so it will get addressed when the more important things get done.
Sorry, for the problems you are experiencing and I can understand the frustration, but there simply isn't a 'fix everything' button that I can press. I have no idea what is causing it, or how to fix it, and as I said it's not my highest priority at the moment. On the plus side it's not like there aren't other options, for example ebay is still a pretty big online marketplace.
