    Default Uhhh, Thanks!

I am not going to pontificate and act like I know WTF I am talking about, but I frequent a couple different forums...and PAY for memberships on some. At least one of these other forums uses the same service to run (vBulletin® Version 4.2.0).

I also frequently use Tapatalk to access these forums.

Again, I am not going to act like I know WHY this is, but SRP seems to have much better features available (particularly on Tapatalk).

For example, when someone quotes another member...on SRP it shows WHO is being quoted with a link back to the post from where the quote comes. Seems pretty stupid simple, but not all forums offer this

another is the ability to like and thank from the Tapatalk platform (or on the web)...I suppose that is a philosophical choice, but allowing a "thanks" or a "like" really eliminates a bunch of silly 2 word posts that essentially express the same.

There is one thing I do not LOVE and that is the adverts, but they do not really bother me as long as they are kept up to date and offer something pertaining to the site (if I ever see an advert for a Bic razor, I will likely speak up )

I have pointed out elsewhere that other forums offer paid memberships for users (as well as dealers, and resellers (subtle difference)) and among the benefits of this are a means of supporting the community with more than just content, and as an added bonus, adverts do not appear to paying members.

Oh well...no real point to this post other than to say thanks for the very nice site...and equal thanks to the FINE collection of members that really seem to conduct themselves (yourselves) like REAL people...which oddly is quite rare these days online. I try and post as if I will meet the person I am speaking to in the very near future...and truly, I hope to do just that (though I will likely not get an opportunity to meet ALL of you)

Carry on, and keep up the good work everyone.

    Thanks,

    Ken
