    Default whining about classifieds

Yeah, I'm a big whiny whiner. So I'm going to bring this up one more time, then, I promise I'll never post about it again. What I'm hoping is that an administrator or someone with with deletion powers with help me.....

Out of the last 8 weeks, I've been able to post into the classifieds twice --- 5 or 6 ads each, and that only happened because someone took pity on me and cleared my very old ads out of the archive.

No one ever promised me a free classifieds listing area, but lots of other people are using it, enjoying it, and frankly, making some money from it. All I ever did was sell razors and such with detailed pictures and descriptions, not to mention that every ad I posted promised customer satisfaction with a money-back plus $5 guarantee.

I'm not the only member with this problem, at least 3 others have mentioned the same thing --- our old ads never disappear.

I'll make one more promise -- I'll never bring up another thread about this again -- I offer a refund on my whiny posts plus $5.00 for your trouble.

delete your old ads. when you create the ad, put an expiration date on it.

Honest, I've been doing this a while. Deleting ads requires -- I believe -- administrator permissions. Classifieds ads cannot be deleted by a member.
Also, all my ads have a 7 day expiration date, the minimum that can be chosen when placing the ad. Always.

Thanks though, it's good to know someone's listening.

Stimpy52 ~ A search reveals you have no ads, current or archived so you should be able to post.
That's about the extent of my internet skills.

I had the same issue no adds under my name but still could not post, for more than a month until gugi did something to fix it. Two weeks ago same thing happened.
I do not see other members that sell regularly complain of the same issue, so I wonder if this account issue with the software or something?

I'm grateful that you looked, but I just tried, same message. If I go to the classifieds and click "my ads", 6 old ads come up.

    I do appreciate the attempt.
