Thanked: 1587I am not sure adding sub-sections to the Classifieds is more work - it is reasonably trivial actually. I think it is just unwarranted. I understand the "field of dreams" argument (if you build it they will come), but I am not sure I agree with its logic in this particular case. From what I have seen of the "restorer" types, they are the kind of guys who keep bits and bobs on the off chance they'll come in handy one day, but are more than happy to gift little bits to people if and when they need them.

I hear you..it is a bit frustrating some times looking for stuff on the net because it is so all over the place..as opposed to the one stop shop of razor knowledge and such right here.
good point tho jimbo

Don't have to search the net for suppliers. As you say "the one stop shop of razor knowledge is right here."

No it is there and I have looked through it..the point is this I guess. I want to get material for one razor. If I get a blank at one place I can try to get it in the size if I can't then I have no means to break it down further...then washers and such some place else. Then wedge material a third place..all the while the shipping for everything is twice the amount then the item I purchase because of the small quantity needed.. And it is three shipping costs. yes I want to do it more but I want to start slow.
I hope this makes sense
since allot of people do it here..the could make up little packages I guess if they were so inclined..there was a thread about it that I looked up in the search. Figured it could work the same in the classifiedsLast edited by aespo; 12-04-2012 at 10:25 PM. Reason: spelling
