Logging in from the forum page directly

Hi group,

I seem to be getting a strange error message when I log in from the Forum page.
Basically, I have the address   bookmarked and just log in from there using the Chrome browser.

These past few days I have been getting the following error:

vBulletin Message

Invalid Redirect URL (http://straightrazorpalace.com/forum.php)


To get around the problem I end up logging in twice and then it just works fine and lets me in normally. Are log-ins from the page   being disallowed or something?

Sorry if this is a strange one or if I'm missing something pretty obvious here, but thought it was worth mentioning.

Get Rid of the old bookmark. Once you get to the login page again by manually typing it bookmark that new page. I had the same issue on my phone as well. The last time the site went down something changed about how the redirects work.

I would say your browser is doing something fishy and doesn't really go straight to that address - that URL does not have any redirecting whatsoever.
I'd also agree with redoing the bookmark and see what happens.

Clean up your browser cache as well

Oh yes I always do that.

Bookmark thing didn't work. I'll try with another browser tomorrow and will see how that goes.

Update:

So it looks like this is happening with Google Chrome only. I'm logging in from Firefox today and this isn't occurring!

Well it may not be the browser of choice but at least it is working for you now. Strange tho...I use chrome and just removed the book mark and it was good to go..odd..but anyway it works and that is what matters.
