    Default Notification flood

    Hi,
I've used this style of forum before on other sites, but this one has me mystified; even with al fhe notifications turned off, I continue to get flooded with emails every time someone replies to a thread that i replied to. That won't work for me.

Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?
Can it be barbaric and civilized at the same time?

Go to settings, my account general settings, default subscription mode and select do not subscribe.

No dice. Still getting continuous notifications. I'll keep looking.

32t gave you the solution for no more subscriptions.

You also need to remove all the subscriptions you already have.
Go to Subscriptions > In the header for the subscription table on the right is a check box click it to select all. > At the bottom right of the page just under the subscription table is a Selected Threads drop down menu. Click it and select the Delete Subscriptions option then click the go button. Repeat as necessary for each page of subscriptions.

Sorry mistakenly thought you were from Vancouver, Not Victoria. Probably Way to long of a trip to make it to a meetup in Spokane.
