Thread: trouble with pm's

I don't think my pm's are working, my sent folder is empty but I am told the messages are stored which is true, they are please help

See the "Settings" link

Go there

Look left

Look down

See General Settings

Go there

Scroll down to Messaging & Notifications

Sent Private Messages:

Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default

Don't save a copy of sent messages

When sending private messages the forum can make a copy of the message in your Sent Items folder.


Hit the button by the highlighted one if you want the PM's to save and then save the settings

Thanks glen, its just that my sent folder is empty, but I have a load of saved messages, wasn't sure if it was like drafts, have found out they are working by Re pming someone to check they got my pm's. Will change my settings thanks.

I had the same trouble until I discovered how to fix your problem.

Go into Settings, then click My settings.

Look down further until you see this:-

"Sent Private Messages:
• Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default
• Don't save a copy of sent messages

When sending private messages the forum can make a copy of the message in your Sent Items folder."


Then just click top button which will save your sent messages. Voila!
