Aloh Vera ?
Guys, I really like the Proraso pre-post shave cream but hate the smell. I was wondering if anyone here knew of a really good post shave balm, after shave lotion out there made with mostly aloh vera? I have been using ZIRH shave cream with aloh vera and it feels awesome!! I'd love to have an after shave that would give me the same cool feeling after the shave is over and lasts most of the day.

Thanked: 1Have you thought of using just aloe vera? It's usually found in the sun block/tan lotion area of Wal-Marts, drugstores, etc.

You can also try the Proraso Liquid Aftershave Balm (its called something like that- comes in a flat glass bottle). I don't know the ingredients, but it has a nice clean kind of soapy smell. Very soothing, light and non-greasy. And its cheap. Its one of my go-to products.

What about some of the Thayer's Witch Hazel products --I think they contain aloe vera.
I use the Thayer's SuperHazel --about $8 ---it contains a lot of goodies (a little grain alcohol thought) and also aloe vera. It has a nice cooling affect ----but the smell is a kind of plain --anyway,

The T&H aftershave balms contain aloe vera as well, I believe. But they're fairly pricey.

Thanked: 1I just use some Tea Tree oil, mixed with some grapeseed oil, it works wonders at soothing the skin. You can make your own for next to nothing.
