Thumbs up Hey guys.... this stuff is pretty damn good.

Don't ask me why I got struck with the need to try it... It's an affliction I have to try every product I can get my paws on at least once.

Now then, today I shaved my face with Headslick cream.

*waits for the catcalls and cries of "Blasphemy!" to die down*

I was more than pleasantly surprised at it's performance. This is most certainly NOT your typical "drugstore shelf goop". It takes well to a brush and lathers very nicely. It did not show any signs of drying out even though I took extra time with the shave. It shaves off clean and rinses easily from the blade too.

The biggest surprise was how it felt. I normally don't care for mentholated creams but this stuff felt very refreshing from the first moment the brush touched my skin all the way to the final rinse.

Headslick has earned a spot in my lineup of regular creams. I can't wait to see how it works in combination with my soaps.

    I believe you.
For the naysayers... I posted a review on another forum expressing similar pleasant surprise awhile back, for types who want PICTURES....
It's a mentholated cream, so if you like Prep, Proraso, or Noxzema, this one is somewhat similar IMHO. Even though it says no where on the packaging that it will lather with a brush.

Hmmmm.... I may have to try that. Got a big bottle but have stopped shaving my head so I gotta find some use for it.

Did a little more experimenting today. This stuff has quite a bit of water already in it, so use a little less than you would for other creams or you will end up with a runny mess.

Tried this out today and it really does work pretty well. I actually thought it compared pretty favorably with Palmolive cream in terms of lather and seemed a little slipperier. All in all a pretty nice shave and has the option of working up a lather with the brush or just putting it on with your hands. Seems odd but, given how available this is, it's a great emergency choice and the travel sizes of Headslick could be the ultimate ultra-compact travel companion...

Great find, I'm pretty sure I never would have thought of trying it despite seeing the bright yellow bottle every morning.
