Type: Shaving Cream (the maker classifies it as "soap" but in my opinion it is a cream).

INCI (List of Ingredients): Aqua, Stearic Acid, Tallow, Potassium Hydroxide, Cocos Nucifera Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter, Castor Seed Oil, Glycerin, Sodium Hydroxide, Parfum, Kaolin

Very good ingredients, no chemical or synthetic elements, except for "parfum", not better defined, therefore of unknown origin, Score: 9

Pakage: Handy plastic jar, with double lids (one external and one internal - see picture) ensuring a better protection against dryness therefore a longer life of the cream, Score: 10

Quantity: 100g (3.5oz)

Smell: Pleasing smell of sandal wood and incense with a mild spicy touch, Score: 9

Lather: It can easily make a creamy and fatty lather, although not very abundant and thick, with a moderate quantity of water, making tiny bubbles, Score: 8

Shaving: Very good sensation on the skin with a very effective moisturizing effect, the razor easily slides on the skin. Although the lather is not abundant, I did not notice any sign of dryness in all of the three passes. No signs of skin irritation, Score: 9

Conclusion: A very good shaving cream, leaving the skin smooth and velvety. The smell of this "San Francesco" cream is very pleasing and I personally like it a lot. I would have expected a more abundant lather, therefore holding a higher quantity of water, thus giving a better shaving experience. The presence of kaolin is also evident contributing to cream's slickness, Score: 8
