    Default American Crew

Ok, I did a search and didn't find too too much on these products. I was wondering if anyone has actually used these products for shaving.

More specifically, I am inquiring about AC's SHAVE products.
I love the smell of the aftershave moisturizer as I have had that on my neck a few times after I got my haircut. I absolutely love that smell. I haven't tried it on my face so I don't know how moisturizing it is or how it feels after a shave.

Also, the shave cream...has anyone tried it? There are two in the SHAVE product line. One is a normal container that has aloe and green tea extract. The other is an herbal shave cream that comes in a squeezable tub containing eucalyptus and vitamin E.

Haven't smelled the shave creams yet, or tired them even, but I do absolutely love the smell of the aftershave and think I am going to try it.

    Any comments?

I also use the Aftershave moisturiser, and was very pleasantly suprised by it. I bought it because it was one of the cheaper ones on the website I was ordering from but i will definately get it again. Like you I really like the smell of it, and it seems to do a great job of moisturising too.
As for their other products I do not know, but I did look into it I think when I first tried the moisturiser and read a not too complimentary review(sorry don't remember where) regarding them, so i didn't end up buying. Saying that the cream I bought instead didn't end up to be something I particularly like either!

Go for it. You may find that you like the stuff, or you may find it abominable and vow never to even look at the packaging again. Either way, you tried something new and are a better person for doing so.

I bumped into those comments again, quite by accident just a minute ago, so I thought I would leave the link to it here.
I reread the posts and now remember why i didn't go for it!

    Well, I took the plunge!

I bought the aftershave - got it for a pretty good price so I decided it was worth the try - and I love it. It is not as soothing as some of the others I have tried, but it still does a good job. And you definately can not beat the smell. I think that is why I like it most. My wife likes it too so that is a plus.

Guess I won't try the shave cream. I did take a look at it and just sitting in the tub it looks kind of 'runny' if that makes any sense. Guess it is not even worth the $8 to try (but who knows, if I get bored one day, I might try it). But I don't think that it is even made for a brush - think it is made for you to just put straight on the face. Still need to do a bit more research on it though.

Is this the American Crew Classic fragrance?
I was looking at it on the net wondering if it smells the same as the aftershave moisturiser? If so maybe I will have to get myself some.

Similar to the classic smell but slightly different. Can't really put my finger on it excpet that I love it.

Sorry couldn't help too much. I was able to find it for $6.99 w/tax included so it was not too much to worry about if I didn't like it.

The only thing I am noticing is that it is a balm. I can not stress that enough. A little goes a long way. Very slick and is not your normal aftershave, slightly different in a balm sort of way.

I had the balm and got a little fed up with the smell after a while. I think it ended up getting donated to some troops or my girlfriends dad in the end.
